While pre-orders are already available online, 'Mortal Kombat X' sets itself to officially release by April 14 this year in PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One platforms [including the Kollector's Edition].
Prices ranging around $50 to as much as $150, the game seems to be highly-anticipated by avid gamers. Gamestop displayed several editions with their respective prices listed. Proof to its guaranteed experience that an a player could have with this game is through its combination of "unparallelled, cinematic presentation with all the new gameplay to deliver the most brutal Kombat experience ever," as stated in their official site.
Since this is the first time in the Kombat series, Mortal Kombat X promises to give gamers the ability to choose from multiple variations of each character that will create impact to strategy as well as the fighting style. According to the same site source, one of the cool features is the online contest that will be persistent in a global battle for the goal of supremacy. This feature is part of the game's new fully-connected gameplay experience. Realty Today also added that there will be five factions of the game that includes Black Dragon, Lin Kuei, White Lotus, Brotherhood of Shadow and Special Forces.
The factions allow players to gain points which they can be tallied at the end of the week. So, those players with the most number of points earn special bonuses which they can use for the upcoming matches.
Kombat's game components include the nine rosters listed together with the DLC - Goro. The rosters, which include Scorpion, Sub-Zero, D' Vorah, Kotal Kahn, Ferra/Torr, Cassie Cage, Raiden, Kano, and Quan Chi. With the first two rosters, there are three variations. For Scorpions, the player can do Ninjutsu where they can add unique normals that can utilize Scorpion Dual Swords; Hell Fire which adds special moves, Hell Ball, Demon Fire, and Flame Aure; and, Inferno, that allows players to add abilities to summon the demomic minion.
On the other hand, with Sub-Zero, according to Mortal Kombat X official website, in which it allows players to choose three variations like the previous. In this part, gamers can have Cryomancer that allows Sub-Zero to conjure ice weapons; Unbreakable to have Ice Parry and Ice armor to reduce damage taken, which is also best for defense; and, Grandmaster which includes the Ice Clone, a Sub-Zero [set-up based Sub-Zero].
Rumors about the full achievement list of the Kombat were also noticed. As reported, a tweet posted said that there is a complete achievement list which players can utilize all througout the game. However, this is not yet confirmed to be true as of the moment.
Moral Kombat X will be available in PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One platforms by April 14 alongside the Kollector's Edition plus bonuses upon purchase.
