Xiaomi announced via Facebook its launching of Mi 4 64 GB phones in India on February 24 at Rs. 23,999.

According to the post of Mi India on its official Facebook page, another variant of its flagship phone the Mi 64 GB will be available in India starting February 24. Like the traditional online flash sale of Mi products in India via Flipkart, this too will occur on Tuesday.

The announcement was made on February 9, Monday, just a day ahead from its launching of Mi 16 GB variant (which is available only in wone color option: white) via online flash sale.

However, the 64 GB Mi variants will be available on a "limited" supply which is approximately 25,0000-30,000 units only. This is to prioritize the premium users of Mi phones in India. This means that the rest of the 250,000 plus prospective buyers that have registered on Flipkart will have to wait for it's another roll out of said phone. On the other hand, the selected 2,500 premium users already received a confirmation via e-mail on February 04.

The 64 GB Mi variants are 3G devices, just like its 16 GB siblings. It comes with a 5-inch screen display with a 1.920 x 1,080 pixel resolution. Its processor is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 with a clock speed of 2.5 GHZ. On top of that, this Mi 4 variant can be upgraded to Android 5.0 Lollipop. This option clearly shows Xiaomi's move - albeit gradual - to incorporate interesting add-on features to its handset products.

For its camera, it comes with front and rear snapper with 8MP Sony Exmor IMX219 and 13MP Sony Exmor IMX214 respectively.

Aside from the 64 GB and the 16 GB Mi variants, Xiaomi's Redmi Note 4G also becomes available in India on February 10. This entry-level phone comes with a dual-band-support, namely TDD-LTE 2300MHz (Band 40) and FDD-LTE 1800MHz (Band 3).
