"The Last: Naruto the Movie" is slated to hit U.S. Theaters this February 20. There are new changes in schedule of the upcoming premiere of the movie and fans should be guided accordingly. The forthcoming movie will not be the end of the line for Naruto and his friends since there will be a follow up "Boruto Movie" slated this coming August.
The premiere for "The Last: Naruto the Movie" will start on February 20 on selected theaters at New York; Seattle, Washington D.C.; Tempe, Arizona; Los Angeles, California; Albuquerque, New Mexico and major theaters across the states.
Theaters in San Diego, California; Littleton, Colorado; Honolulu, Hawaii; Manville, New Jersey will get to see the movie on February 21. While Kansas City, Raleigh, North Carolina and Missouri will get to see it on February 24. The film will reach Murrieta and Bakersfield in California and Miami and Hollywood in Florida on Feb. 28.
Other States will get month delay for before "The Last: Naruto the Movie" hits their theaters which will include, Cedar Rapids, Bloomington and Iowa, Illinois; Boston, Massachusetts; and Portland, Oregon.
"The Last: Naruto the Movie" will be the tenth "Naruto" animated movie and it is the seventh in the "Naruto Shippuden" film series. It is the first film that is included as a part of the canon in the "Naruto" storyline which reveals the timeskip between the last two chapters of the manga.
However this won't be the last and final film in Naruto Universe. Since "Boruto: Naruto the Movie" is currently under the works from Naruto manga series creator, Masashi Kishimoto. According to him, the movie will be a spin-off of the main Naruto manga and it will tell the story of the next generation of ninjas. The upcoming sequel film is part of the "Naruto: The New Era Project" which marks the 15th anniversary of the Naruto Manga.
According to Masashi Kishimoto, the sequel Naruto film will involve Boruto who is the son of Naruto and Hinata. Sarada, the daughter of Sasuke and Sakura, will also be part of the film. There is a strong possibility that the two of them will have a special connection since both of their fathers and mothers are part of the same generation of ninjas and has formed a special bond after the great Shinobi World War.
"The Last: Naruto the Movie" is will hit U.S. Theaters this February 20 and follow up shows will also be released in theaters across the states. This won't be the final Naruto film as Masashi Kishimoto is currently developing "Boruto: Naruto the Movie" spin-off sequel.
