The latest 'Insurgent' trailer shows Beatrice 'Tris' Prior showing off her fighting spirit as she faces a battle in a world that sees Divergents as a threat. She will face off against nemesis Jeanine Matthews (Kate Winslet) who would prove to be ruthless in her attempt to eliminate all those she would consider to be a threat.
The new 'Insurgent' trailer debuted on Tuesday on the official Divergent Twitter page. "The new #Insurgent trailer "Fight Back" is UNLOCKED!" the tweet read. Fans of the movie would quickly share the new trailer, garnering a colossal amount of views.
In the trailer, Tris sheds off her long hair, showing that she is ready to put up a fight. Fans would also gush at the tender moment that Tris shares with her love interest Tobias 'Four' Eaton (Theo James). The trailer also shows Jeanine in her relentless attempt to eradicate society of Divergents. The leader of the Erudite faction would emphasize that Divergents are nothing but a danger to society.
Tris also fights off armed soldiers and crashes into glass buildings. She is also able to break against cable restraints. We will certainly be seeing a whole new side of Tris in this latest installment.
This trailer seems to deal a lot with computer simulation, suggesting that the lines of reality is blurred. Tris is then seen talking to her brother Caleb (Ansel Elgort).
"You are living proof that the Divergent problem has grown beyond all control." Caleb says. "You are the key, Tris, to rescue what little civilisation we have left," he continues. What plans does Caleb have in order to restore peace in society? Do these lines of his foreshadow his betrayal of Tris.
The trailer ends with a Tris and Four romantic scene that will make all fans swoon. "You're real?" she asks, as she strokes his face. To which he replies, "Yeah, I'm real."
It was announced earlier on that there is a passionate sex scene between the two characters. Both have outstanding chemistry, making their romantic scenes all the more believable. Fans are still speculating that Shailne Woodley and Theo James are actually dating in real life. The two actors are quiet about their romantic lives and haven't given their comments regarding the matter.
Insurgent hits theaters on March 20.
