"Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" had recently revealed the latest picture of the new gear set for the game, the "Marine Grenadier." Apart from that, the developers also mentioned the start of the new "Gun Game" mode.
The picture of the "Marine Grenadier" was uploaded at the "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" Twitter page on Feb. 13th, which also was the kick-off of the latest "Gun Game" mode, which would be concluded on Feb. 16th. So far, the "Gun Game" mode was regarded a relatively successful Valentine's weekend campaign as players posted mixed reviews on the gun-totting "Happy Heart's Day" celebration.
The mechanics of the "Gun Game" mode were simple, player's weapon (gun) would be upgraded as the player progressed in the game. However if the player would be slashed, the previous weapon prior to the latest upgraded would have to be used as penalty.
Apart from that, another post from Sledgehammer's Twitter page also gave a link on the details about the "One Shot Mosh Pit" for Call of Duty: Advance Warfare," which would include several game modes like "Free for All, Domination, Hardpoint, Team Deathmatch, and Kill Confirmed." Players would be able to access these maps through "Bonus Playlist" in the "Find Match Menu."
Earlier, Sledgehammer released its "Atlas Gorge" DLC and mentioned the upcoming Championship 2015. So far, Sledgehammer had been continuing its campaign for the eSports event.
The "Call of Duty" Championships 2015 would be set on March. Sledgehammer co-founder Glen Schofield said that their mission on developing "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" was to offer an arena for the "competitive community." He added that they "cannot wait for the top talent from around the world to compete in the 'Call of Duty' Championships."
Despite the intense activity surrounding the game "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare," it would be the "Call of Duty" Championships 2015 that avid players should be on the look out as hard core players test their mettle in this year's shooting fest.
