The GTX 980 Ti release date might be pushed back to 2016 according to the latest reports.

This news has surfaced online after the manufacturer of the new GE Force GTX Titan single-chip flagship graphics card, Nvidia Corporation, has reportedly admitted that they are facing production problems.

It's previously reported that the GTX 980 Ti was anticipated for an initial release in December last year, however, given the lag in production leaves the company with no choice but to postpone the launch next year.

Meanwhile, rumors continue to tailspin on the net that the new GeForce GTX 980 Ti graphics card will have DirectX 12.0 and SLI, VXGI, MFAA, GameStream, G-SYNC, GPU Boost 2.0, GeForce Experience, PhysX support and more.

The memory clock is also claimed to run at around 1753 MHz, although, Nvidia has not confirmed these reports.

As reported, fans can raise their expectations of the GTX 980 Ti to be packed with innovative features based on the fact that it has the second version of the Maxwell Architecture and 28nm technology. Maxwell includes Voxel Global Illumination (VXGI) that creates a remarkably improved graphics and lighting effects to create a more realistic output.

Other rumors reveal that the GTx 980 Ti graphics cards will have 2560 and 2816 CUDA cores on a 384-bit memory bus that is twice better compared to the old GTX graphics cards that only have 256-bit bus.

Other Game sites, on the other hand, have purportedly claimed that the GTX 980 Ti will mark from $700 up to $1000 price range and that Nvidia is considering a price hike on the new GeForce GTX Titan single-chip flagship graphics card when it hits consumer market.

There are also some reports speculating the new ultra-high-end GTX Titan graphics adapter will have a price tag of $1,349 that makes a huge difference from the price of its predecessor.

It should be noted, though, that none of these rumors as the the GTX 980 Ti release date and specs have been confirmd by Nvidia at this time.
