‘Alien: Isolation Lost Contact’ PS4, Xbox One, PC DLC Release: Sega unleashes one life survivor challenge in critically acclaimed game

"Alien: Isolation" had lived up to expectations that it would live up to the legacy of its mother franchise, the horror sci-fi movie that catapulted Sigourney Weaver's career as a extraterrestrial exterminator, "Aliens." The game adaptation of the 1979 Ridley Scott movie had garnered the highest number of BAFTA nominations in 2015.

"Alien: Isolation" was nominated for six video game awards: "best game, British game, game design, game innovation, audio achievement and music categories." However, the game would be facing tough competition from other video games that range from modified old time favorites to game adaptations of hit movies, like itself.

Somehow, that was the beauty of "Alien: Isolation." It wasn't a loud as its competitors but it surely packed a punch. It kind of represented the cunning alien carnivores from the movie that devoured nearly all the actors, except for Sigourney Weaver of course who managed to surpass all odds in the movie series.

With such critical acclaim, it would be no wonder why Sega had recently released its latest DLC pack, "Lost Contact." The new DLC would add a "Salvage Challenge to the game's Survivor Mode." Add to that, the DLC would include a new "Survivor Challenge" that would the players to gnash their teeth as they would only be given one life to complete the "Challenge Objective."

The game would once again feature Axel, the Sevastopol space station wanderer. The latest DLC of "Alien: Isolation" would be its fourth in the title. "Lost Contact" would not be far fetched from the previous DLC "Safe Haven," which was released last month. There would be ten challenges for the protagonist to complete, which would include going through "Lorenz Private Wards" and the "Emergency Power Plant."

With "Alien: Isolation Lost Contact" available, Sega would once again prove that nothing could beat the classics.
