Will love be sweeter the second time around for Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd?
The Dancing With The Stars pro and former love birds have recently made the headlines when they were spotted arm in arm walking down the wintery streets of New York late last month.
"They've been spending time together," a source told Us Weekly of the two possibly rekindling their romance. "I wouldn't say they're back together. But they're definitely spending time together."
As previously reported, Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd became a Dancing With The Stars real life couple in 2012, however, after ten months of seeing each other, the two broke up a couple of weeks before Valentine's Day.
After the split, the single and available Maksim Chmerkovskiy has been linked to several celebrities like the superstar Jennifer Lopez, supermodel Kate Upton, DWTS co-pros Karina Smirnoff, and host Erin Andrews.
A Dancing With The Stars source told People, though, that 'his heart has always belonged to Peta Murgatroyd.'
"They've never really broken up," the source revealed. "They're with each other a lot and have been for quite some time including all last season. Tommy [Chong] would tease her about it."
Peta has been claimed to be posting some photos on Instagram to show that she and Maks have spending time together frequently even outside the work calls. The two reportedly spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day together and at Maksim's Chmerkovskiy's birthday bash just recently before the Daily Mail published photos of Maksim and Peta cozying up in New York last January 20.
In his reported interview with Social Life Magazine, the DWTS season 18 champ spilled that he has considered the thought of settling down and have a family of his own.
"I raised so many children at the studio that I am ready to create one of my own," he revealed. "I am really ready to have a family now. I need an outlet. I have so much I want to give, and I need someone to give it to."
Both reps of Maksim Chmerovksiy and Peta Murgatroyd have not confirmed or denied this 'dating again' rumor.
Meanwhile, the 35 year old Dancing With The Stars fan favorite pro has gone lately to Las Vegas to choreograph a multimillion dollar scene for 'Le Reve-The Dream' in celebration of the show's 10th anniversary.
Chmerkovskiy reportedly talked about this latest gig as saying, "My role as a guest choreographer for Le Rêve has been one of the biggest highlights of my career. It has been an honor to have been entrusted by a show of this caliber for so many years."
As for Peta Murgatroyd, she has been confirmed as one of the pros returning for Dancing With The Stars season 20 alongside Maksim Chmerkovkiy's brother, Val, and other pro casts last February 11.
