‘Assassin’s Creed Unity,' 'Black Flag' Xbox One Bundle Returns on President’s Day, Limited Offer Despite Glitch Reviews

By

Ubisoft finally found a way to repackage the botched "Assassin's Creed: Unity" that met its untimely demised under the hands of murderous critics and fans who ultimately felt disappointed over the game's glitches and lapses. This would be a time for redemption as the game would be bundled with "Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag" this President's Day.

The marketing strategy was launched by Groupon, wherein an Xbox One would be sold with a couple of the latest titles from one of Ubisoft's most popular game franchises "Assassin's Creed: Unity" and "Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag." The bundle would be sold for US$349.99. Now, that would be an offer no one could simply ignore. Apart from the inclusion of the download tokens for both games, the bundle on limited offer would feature the latest updates on "Assassin's Creed: Unity."

Earlier, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot told investors in a conference call that they have made the necessary changes on the error riddled "Assassin's Creed: Unity." Many players and critics have virtually murdered the game for several lapses including AIs that looked like skinned animatronics, which turned the game's graphic design from a historically inspired masterpiece to a post-apocalyptic hodgepodge. Now, a "completely reworked technical engine and visuals" would be featured in the bundle that would hopefully bury the hatchet surrounding the game's anomaly.

However, fans should hurry up if they plan to buy the latest bundle as it's only a single day event. Also, the bundle's price would be further slashed to US$315 if the buyers would use the promo code PREZ10. Now, that would surely make bargain hunters appreciate "Hail to the Chief" in a different light.

This would not be the first time "Assassin's Creed" titles were bundled off with Xbox One game consoles on sale. The project was first initiated last Thanksgiving by Microsoft (along with Dell) and with its booming success, it might become a trend in which Ubisoft could win big bucks and erase previous humiliating losses.
