The Young and the Restless spoilers teased first half of the love month with tragic events and shocking revelations but the more appalling news after the plane crashed in Genoa City, Lily Winters is missing. Is Christel Khalil going to leave the hit noontime soap?
In yesterday's episode, Lily (Christel Khalil) has not been showing up after the tragic plane crash. Neil (Kristoff St. John), Devon (Bryton James), Cane (Daniel Goddard), Colin (Tristan Rogers) and Jill (Jess Walton) have been in search around the crash site for Lily. Meanwhile, Hilary was paralyzed after the crash.
Lily's husband Cane had been knocked for six not seeing her after the wreckage.
Before the tragic event will happen, on board the plane, Neil went to the bar to pour himself a drink. Lily warned his father and said: "That's alcohol."
Surprisingly, Neil reads the label and said: "I can see everything... What a sight it was. My lying son in bed with cheating wife."
Now that Neil spilled the beans in front of every one of his wife and son's furtive affair, he told Hilary and Devon have to pay back.
"You both are dead to me," Neil vowed.
Did Neil really blow up the private plane? Jill (Jess Walton) told Neil it's not a good idea to include in his revenge innocent lives but it seems in the last episode nobody is innocent for him.
If Lily is truly dead then rumors could have been true as well. Fans are speculating that producers of the show might be in the works of killing off the character. Nevertheless, this is not the first time the character is rumored to be leaving the show. In 2012, Jill Farren Phelps said in an interview that they are toying the idea of recasting Lily's character.
Grinding in the rumor mill as well, the 27-year-old actress is no longer happy with the lack of storyline in her character. As for now though, CBS has said nothing official.
With how the show went down this month, new head writer of The Young and the Restless Chuck Pratt is apparently up for something that is admirable and part of that may be to undergo the show in a total revamp, both the storyline and the casting.
Khali's character has been in the focal point of the soap for 13 years.
The Young and the Restless airs from Mondays through Fridays at 12:30 PM on CBS.
