'The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt' featured different skills that players can use along the gameplay with different armors on offer. The game will be released this May 19 in Xbox One, PS4, and PC platforms.
As reported, CDProjekt RED are using their latest iteration of proprietary engine - REDEngine 3- upon making the world as 'The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt' was recently announced to have new features to level-up the characters during the entire gameplay. Players can unlock skills, and even assign them to different slots where they can also do activate and deactivate skills according to what makes their characters suit the best.
"Activated skills determine tactics. You choose (activate) some of them and you have resources to manage (stamina and adrenaline), so behaviour in combat depends on skill choices. In other words, to use your build properly, you cast signs, parry, dodge, and hit with your sword more or less frequently. Some skills grant additional signs modes or special blows," game dev mentioned.
They also detailed the different types of armor elements which players can choose for their respective characters. They can be in light, medium, or heavy. They also said that synergy with combat tactics are more important than the protection granted, as such, an example was stated, "For example heavy armor favors aggressive swordfighting. But you can mix armor elements to balance bonuses they offer. If you like to tweak and customize, you'll find it attractive..."
Community manager Marcin Mormot advised on the skill development to users, "As you level up the character, you unlock the skills. You can then assign them to one of the slots. Assigning a skill to a slot makes it active - you can activate and deactivate skills at will making custom builds to suit your current needs best," he added, "There are up to 12 slots (+4 mutagens) which are being unlocked as you progress - mutagetns modify skills making the skills stronger. To make mutagens even more effective, it's best to use the same type of mutagen and skills in one combination."
The game has four groups of skills which can be categorized as Swordsmanship, Alchemy, Signs, and Miscellaneous. The fifth group includes the Mutagens.
Meanwhile, required minimum install space was suggested by CDProjeckt RED as confirmed by Gamespot. According to the site, they cited that users should have at least 50GB of install space on PS4 and Xbox One. Game developers suggested that players, in order to have the best gaming experience, should have around 40GB of hard drive space which is really necessary for the game.
"The game's world is apparently about 35 times the size of its predecessor, and about 20 percent bigger than the vast world of Skyrim. It will also render at 1080p on Playstation 4 (and at a visually similar 900p on Xbox One)," Gamespot reported.
Moreover, 50GB is required for the biggest next generation console games, however, it's uncommon for these consoles to have this space size.
Apart from the space size that players should consider, they can also expect 16-hours of sex motion [though this game has been known for its sex scenes]. With the latest installment, 'Wild Hunt,' it was revealed that the upcoming action RPG contains 16-hours sex scenes.
'The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt' will be released by May 19 in PS4, Xbox One, and PC platforms.
