The launching of the Samsung Galaxy S6 at the MWC in Berlin is just one week away. Could Samsung release one final teaser before then? Of course, only Samsung could tell, or who knows T-Mobile would provide a clear front photo of the Galaxy S6 one of these days?
So far what we know about the Samsung Galaxy S6 is that it will be a 5-inch borderless, metallic handset with curved screen display. For its operating system, it will be powered by Samsung's very own processor the Exynos 7420 and its camera will have three focus modes.
All these were revealed to awaiting Samsung fan one teaser after another. While it did put Samsung supporters in a huge tease, it seemed to work for Samsung especially in keeping the hype alive and in sparking curiosity about the upcoming device.
So let's wrap them up here from the most recent down to the least.
This week Samsung posted a 45-minute video teaser on You Tube and a photo teaser to Instagram. Each seem to confirm at least two different rumors: First, the all-metal body; and second, the curved design. Also, the device is projected in the video to have an anti-reflective display if going with the voice over saying... "reflections will be free."
A few hours later, T-Mobile CEO John Legere shared to his Twitter account a photo of the S6 to announce that it will be available at T-Mobile through pre-registration. Unlike in Samsung's teasers, the photo Legere posted clearly shows the curved sides of the screen (on both sides) and the full-metal body but the front is blurred.
Last week Samsung provided three brief teaser videos, each with the title The Next Galaxy and focused on different aspects of the device. One teaser is about the materials used for the device, which according to the script is made from things "I see around me."
The other focuses on handset's speed and battery and lastly the device's camera features. The camera features of the Samsung Galaxy S6 is expected to have a 21-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera.
But then there were also the stunning renders of the Galaxy S6 by duo designers Ivo Maric and Jermaine Smit, taking inspiration from the consistent rumors about the device.
As a result, the artists had come up with designs that did not only come close to the confirmed design features but also something close to ideal.
For Samsung that means a radical change which is exacty where it will be taking the Galaxy S6 variants, the curved variant and the front-facing display handset.
Stay tuned for Samsung's "Unpacked" event on March 1, where all the details about the device will be unleashed. Finally.
