Hilary Duff and husband Mike Comrie have already been separated for two years now. But the couple's gone from "separated" to "divorced"- they're officially over, and filing for divorce.
Apparently, things were not pleasant between the two- Comrie's been accused of acting pretty sleazy behind Duff's back, with multiple reports of hitting on random women and attempting to cheat on his wife. According to EntertainmentWise, Comrie was allegedly very drunk, and attempting to pay one woman for sex in a bar in Bevery Hills.
Earlier in the evening, Comrie had sat down to dinner and began flirting with his waitress. When the waitress wouldn't flirt back, Comrie moved to the restaurant bar and began flirting heavily with another woman. Again, this second woman was unresponsive, so Comrie allegedly pulled out a wad of money and tried to buy his way into her bedroom.
Here's what he may have said that night:
"Ok. How much? How much do you want? I have as much as you need. How much for sex? Name your price. How much do you want to have sex with me?"
Pretty desperate, huh? Also, excellent grounds for divorce.
But is it possible the two might get back together? According to WKOW, Duff has "been open" about patching things up with Comrie in the past. While drunkenly trying to pay for sex is probably a dealbreaker for Duff, with counseling and a lot of help, this couple could potentially pull through. As well, Reveal has... well, revealed that Duff isn't speaking about this split in ways that make it sound permanent. Here's how she describes it:
"I spoke with [Mike] this morning, we really care a lot about each other. Whatever happens, happens. Once we're tired of doing this, we'll make a choice."
If there's a "choice," they could always choose to get back together, right? It's entirely possible. So don't count these two out just yet- just because the word "divorce" is thrown around, doesn't mean the end is here.
