Xbox One and PS4 Releases for the Week: Dragon Ball Xenoverse, Dying Light, Homeworld Remastered, Aces of the Luftwaffe, Oddworld: New ‘N’ Tasty, and Resident Evil Revelations 2

Arriving this week on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 (PS4) are a band of new and exciting games, like Dragon Ball Xenoverse, Dying Light, Homeworld Remastered, Aces of the Luftwaffe, Oddworld: New 'N' Tasty, and Resident Evil Revelations 2. Here's the latest rundown to keep up with the gaming world. Note that prices published here are actual as of the press time, and may change.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse (February 24)

A pair of new villains are destroying history itself, and as a warrior summoned by Trunks, player shall restore events to their right timeframe. Previously, Goku was not able to save Gohan and Krillin when Vegeta and Nappa attacked them. Dragon Ball Xenoverse is coming out at $59.96 for Xbox One and at $49.96 for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC.

Resident Evil Revelations 2 (Release Date: February 25)

The zombie-themed game's first installment will come out this week in a new periodic design. Set ahead of Resident Evil 6, Revelations 2 will showcase the comeback of Barry Burton, reverted to Umbrella because of the departure of his daughter Moira. A good number of dark corridors and horrible monsters are set for battle which players will need to utilize their ammo supply wittingly.

Aside from Xbox One and PS4, Resident Evil Revelations 2 will also be released on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. The first installment costs £4.99, with additional content coming in at £19.99.

Oddworld: New 'N' Tasty (Release Date: February 25)

Although already out on PS4, Oddworld: New 'N' Tasty is a reboot of the Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee first released in 1997. Oddworld: New 'N' Tasty is also coming out to PC this week, while Xbox One and PS3 versions will be out by next month, which includes a 10 percent discount through Steam.

Aces of the Luftwaffe (Release Date: February 25)

This 2D shooter is an archetypical shoot-them-up that allows players to become Allies to battle the Axis power. Three different planes and pilots with different abilities can be chosen from a reckless Spitfire to heavy armored Beast. Major Köhler shall be beaten with flying tank, or Zeppelin-armored Commander Eugen in five varying level packages. Aces of the Luftwaffe will be exclusively released on PS4.

Homeworld Remastered (Release Date: February 25)

A high-definition makeover will bring a better gaming experience with Homeworld Remastered, plus the classic varieties from the game's Collection. The original Homeworld in 1999 was the first fully 3D real time strategy game. This re-mastered collection combines Homeworld and Homeworld 2 into an epic, galaxy-spanning space opera with updated textures, new visual effects, remade cinematics, and support for HD resolutions.

At the time of release, players will receive a free-of-charge pass to the game's Steam multi-player beta. The multi-player mode of the game have been made into a centralized mode that lets players to all contents, like races, maps, and game modes, and all enhancements for a competitive battle scale.

Homeworld Remastered costs $29.74 on Steam.

Dying Light (Release Date: February 27)

The zombie-themed role playing game first rumored to be released in January in Europe, to no avail. Dying Light showcases a undulating 24-hour cycle which makes various situations of risk and adversaries to defeat. The Dying Light will also be launched to PC aside from Xbox One and PS4. Other games coming soon include Dynasty Warriors: Empires, Limbo, and There Came an Echo.
