This March 31, Axiom Verge will be hitting screens as it launches its Metroidvania-style single-person gaming in PS4 and PS Vita for $20. Reportedly, the game will be supporting Cross-Buy. With no confirmed date of release, its PC version is also coming.
According to one reliable source, Axiom Verge will be in Cross-Buy so that means that if the user will buy one purchase, that PS4 version together with PS Vita will be included. As cool as it seems, the said game is also developed for its PC version.
Tom Happ, developer of the game, mentioned about its official release date and at the same time expressed his self to his experience upon making the game. He said, "It's been the greatest experience of my professional life creating this game ... I really hope you enjoy it even half us much as I enjoyed making it. Thank you for your support."
Axiom Verge was one of the E3 Indie Games last year. And as far as the fans are concerned, they are one of the outstanding games which is in a single-player mode. GameSpot described the game as 'definitely worth keeping your eye on.'
Players find it really fun while enjoying the entire gaming experience with its smooth controls and sharp movements. Plus, the inventive weapons used to fight against crazy enemies. These feature were already enough to convince players that they wanted to explore more on every inch of the world.
With the gameplay, aside from the inventive weapons, crazy enemies and smooth controls, they also feature a mix of exploration alongside boss battles. Moreover, the game's powerups were also anticipated. Such powerups include, Nova, Drill, and Address Disruptor as revealed by Happ.
Nova is a gun, considered to be more lethal than others. This is not an ordinary gun as it also has the ability to detonate its projectiles mid-air with its options. So, this weapon can allow users to shoot at targets not directly in sight. Then, the drill. This is rewarded to players after they could defeat the boss. Thus, players can have a chance to dig holes for new health upgrades and new weapons. Lastly, the address disruptor, which opens a puzzle ideas for people to explore by glitching every enemy to see what they can do.
This retro-inspired Axiom Verge to release by March 31 in PS4 and PS Vita platforms for only $20.
