The 2D puzzle-platformer game Limbo that brings players to some other kind of creepy dimensions has arrived yesterday on PlayStation 4 (PS4). Limbo's developer Playdead officially released to Sony game console for only $9.99, one of Playdead's budget games without having to compromise the need of a more exciting gameplay experience.

In a report, the Denmark-based game developer released the video game after they found out how Limbo performed on PS4 edition's ratings list with five stars. Sony reminds game fanatics that the full HD 1080p requires 1080p native display.

First released on July 21, 2010, the single player video game centers on a young boy who is uncertain of his lost sister's fate, tries to find her and entered the world of Limbo. Along the way to finding out what you've set out to discover you'll encounter plenty of puzzles, traps and enemies like monstrous spiders. The game rose to fame because of its unique black-and-white and minimalistic approach.

A gaming website commends Playdead for doing "a great job... as everything runs fluid, movement controls feel nice, and there's the addition of things like Google Play Games service with achievements. The game is beautifully crafted from head to toe, with an artistic set of visuals and sometimes mind boggling gameplay which you very well could spend hours on just trying to figure out how to get past a specific spot."

Earlier 2015, Limbo was first rumored to be coming by the end of the year. Reports circulated that the European ratings board PEGI had enlisted Limbo as one of the potential releases in Europe by that time.

The game has a 300MB minimum save size and is powered by DualShock4. Limbo has been made available first across others platforms, including PS3, PS Vista, iOS, Android, Xbox One, and Xbox 360. Playdead is currently in the works for the upcoming title Inside, which was revealed during the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2014. Other games available now on PS4 includes Citizens of Earth, How to Survive: Storm Warning Edition, Evolve, and Assassins Creed Unity.
