The new theme of the series was revealed by Gaga on her Twitter account. The "American Horror Story: Hotel" is due to be shown on television screens by October. Gaga's character in the show was not yet revealed but the mere fact that she will be part of the show is exciting news both for the viewers of the series and Gaga's fans. FX has already confirmed her role and claims that this will be the singer's first starring role on television.

The star recently impressed and surprised the media and fellow artists by nailing her performance in the recently concluded Oscars. She was not her usual self and donned a white flowing gown while paying tribute to The Sound of Music. Some critics even saw her performance as an opportunity to redefine her career. Now she is even taking an even more unexpected turn in her career as she joins the cast as a series regular.
