Studio giant SONY entertainment have confirmed that Spider-man will be back in the Marvel team and he will be having his debut on "Captain America 3 : Civil War". With this fact at hand, fans have been speculating on how will Spider-man be incorporated in the film. As some are not aware, the Civil War story revolves around the feud of the world's superheroes, mainly by two major characters, Captain America (Chris Evans) and Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.).
The government has issued a bill which requires all superhumans or those who have superpowers to be registered in a central database wherein all their profiles will be stored and they will have to perform civic duties for the people. While Iron Man thinks this is the logical thing to support, Captain America thinks otherwise. And this is when Spider-man will come between the two. But the question is, on whose side will he be?
Spider-man to be the middle man or to be the villain?
Jeff Sneider, a popular insider in Hollywood shocked the world with an intriguing tweet that stirred many rumors but also provided a probability of reality that his statement might be the ultimate plot twist of the film. "Wait, what? Peter Parker dies in Marvel's Civil War and Miles Morales takes up the Spider-Man mantle in Sony's solo movie? Interesting..." he tweeted a few days ago.
This rumor even gained strength due to a report from Comic Book that there was a live-action Turkish film entitled "3 Giant Men (Captain America and Santo vs. Spider-Man) wherein Spider-man was an antagonist.
This might also be a sign for the webbed crusader's role in the film. He can be the reason for Captain America and Iron Man to team up to destroy Spider-man. But that means Peter Parker has to die in the film. Until now, there has been no official report whether these speculations are true.
Some of the stars who will be reprising their roles are Daniel Bruhl (Baron Zemo) and Chadwich Boseman (Black Panther). Who do you think should be the Spider-man in the Civil War movie? Stay tuned for more updates on the details of the film.
"Captain America 3: Civil War" will hit the theaters of May 6, 2016.
