'Tom Clancy's The Division' Xbox One, PS4 Release Date, Rumors: New screenshot leaked of Alpha version hints launch is close?

By

A hullabaloo is happening on the net recently regarding Tom Clancy's The Division release date when a reported leak of the game's alpha version surfaced online.

According to the report, Reddit users found a section on the game's website dedicated to an alpha test. A link to an Alpha section is found within the website's codes that can be discovered through an extensive searching.

Clicking on that website code shows page menu bars with an Alpha section which reportedly captured in a screenshot.

"They have just put the "Alpha" code in a div that is set to not display yet. So when they are ready to open the Alpha page they change the code. But the point is that they have already created the Alpha page, but not put it up yet," says one Reddit user.

Nothing is official yet and Ubisoft is still to comment on this uncovering but it makes sense that the developer would release an alpha, particularly, with a massive game such as 'Tom Clancy's The Division' that requires an extensive testing.

Could this be one major reason to explain the long push back of the game launch? Tom Clancy's The Division release date was first schedule last year, however, a few months before the slated launch, Ubisoft announced it will be delayed until 2015.

It even got a place among the ranks of the biggest game delays in 2014 by The Gist along with the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt developed by CD Projekt Red, Battlefield Hardline by Visceral Games, The Order: 1886 by Ready at Dawn, Evolve by Turtle Rock Studios, and Batman: Arkham Knight by Rocksteady Studios.

The release date for Tom Clancy's The Division is confirmed to hit Xbox One, PS4 this year alongside Assassin's Creed Victory and Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege games.
