'Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain' Xbox One, PS4, PC Release Date: Hideo Kojima drops upgraded gameplay improvements and more

By

Game producer of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Hideo Kojima has been drip teasing gamers who highly anticipate the release date almost on an every day basis via Twitter.

Gamebolt reported that in Kojima's latest tweet, he published a photo of the Big Boss steering what appeared to be a Mini-Metal Gear although, Snake doesn't actually sit in the Mech and at closer look, it shows he's controlling the suit from behind as if riding it.

Kojima also updates the fans regarding his experiences with the making of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain release. He reveals Quiet incurring an injury that excludes her from operation activity and also mentions the loveable DD.

"I've been putting the game together while using DD as a buddy all the time. From this week, I have changed to Quiet. However, Quiet has been injured during a mission and transported to the medical facility. So, with the pilot, only two people are sitting in the helicopter. The seat is empty. I feel somewhat lonely," he said.

In a separate tweet, Kojima cited that Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will be 100% open world and will give the the action over to the player, from how to infiltrate, what techniques to choose when engaging or not with the patrol and the like.

As JunkerHQ translated, Kojima is quoted as saying, 'MGSV is an open-world "free infiltration" game, as opposed to a linear game. This doesn't just mean that the maps are big; infiltration routes, approach to intel gathering, time of day, equipment, means of transport - these are all up to the player."

"We have to ensure there is freedom that is not only logical but allows for spontaneity. What I'm doing right now is resolving problems that have appeared, without altering the level of freedom."

The game producer, however, vowed that these problems would not be evident in the final game.

'From morning till night, I continue to put the game together while playing it on real hardware (the same environment in which players will play the game). Of course, I still have meetings to attend and things from the various teams to go check in-person.'

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is set for release this year on Xbox One, PS4, and PC platforms with a promise of incredible gameplay improvements and ultimate gaming experience that fans will love.
