Rumors have been spreading, since last year, about Apple releasing its long awaited Retina MacBook Air. Speculations would claim that Apple will be unveiling its latest MacBook this year. According to techradar, this upcoming Apple device has the potential to be the best all-round MacBook up to date.

Due to comments regarding the latest MacBook Air having a good battery life but very poor resolution, whereas MacBook Pro with Retina has an excellent high-resolution IPS displays but is heavier compared to Air. So in order to combine the features of the two MacBooks, Apple had been developing the next MacBook Air to have retina display. The Retina Display is Apple's newest display feature which allows the users to obtain a full viewing experience. The Retina Display has a high pixel density that even the human eye can't discern in normal viewing distance.

The Retina MacBook Air is said to size up to 12 inches and is also said to be released on March or April. But Apple fans would need to wait a bit longer if Apple would decide to use a Skylake processer from Intel. In fact, Skylake is not yet out in the market for it is scheduled to be unveiled on the second half of 2015. This would mean that Apple might opt to unveil the MacBook Air on another WWDC event.

News from Taiwan would claim that Apple is having a hard time perfecting the new MacBook Air. It would seem that the company is having problems in obtaining the desired Retina display without compromising its battery life. Other news would claim that the delay is caused by Apple waiting for Intel to release its new processor chips.

The release of this MacBook has been delayed so many times. News about its release had come early as 2014. However, another rumor about its price is spreading that the new MacBook Air might cost around $1, 099.
