Four years after it was launched in Japan, "Final Fantasy Type-0 HD" would be making its way to North America. The game developers seem to be really revving up the hype engine as they recently made a combat walkthrough for the anticipated title in the series.
Square Enix UK uploaded a video on their YouTube channel featuring the game play for the upcoming release of "Final Fantasy Type-0 HD." The video gave gamers a glimpse of what to expect in the next title in the "Fabula Nova Crystallis Final Fantasy" series to come out on March 17th.
In the video, which would be the first in the "Sqaure Enix Plays" video series, Square Enix community manager Dan Seto gave an 18-minute walkthrough for players using Class-0 members Machina, Cater and Eight. "Final Fantasy Type-0" would feature real-time combat compared to traditional "Final Fantasy" games. Also, the Class-0 members would be able to extract Phantoma from their fallen enemies. Phantomas have a variety of colors that indicate which magic they could be used in when performing upgrades.
The gamers would be able to see the hotkeys for the Class-0 members used in the game on the screen. Like in the previous titles in the franchise, "Final Fantasy Type-0 HD" would be using MPs when using specialized abilities. Also, the walkthroughs would be giving amazing tips on how to get as much advantage in the game like in acquiring Phantomas and loot.
Meanwhile, a gameplay overview trailer was uploaded by Square Enix NA on its YouTube channel. The video primer, which was over 7-minutes long, featured the story behind "Final Fantasy Type-0 HD," which revolves around a resistance group composed of Class-0 students from the Vermillion Peristylium in the Dominion of Rubrum. Also, the video included a short trailer of the upcoming "Final Fantasy XV" title at the end.
The gamers would journey around Orience and finish quests that would ultimately lead to the liberation of Rubrum and two other countries blanketed by the iron curtain of the Militesi Empire. As the gamers complete the missions, Square Enix community manager Dan Seto has to this to say to them, "always have your wits about you."
