Reportedly, Rise of the Tomb Raider has a lot of close competitors and one of them is Naughty Dog's Uncharted 4: Thief's End. Amid close competition, game developer remained confidently believed to their edge compared to them.

According to one site source, Crystal Dynamics has already felt that there are more emerging prospect competitors against Rise of Tomb Raider. One was named from Naughty Dog, the Uncharted 4: Thief's End. Noah Hughes, the creative director of the game, revealed that it is not only Uncharted 4 Rise of the Tomb Raider has to fight against with, but also other amazingly developed games from many other studios.

Amid this close competition in the gaming industry, Hughes and his team remained calm and confident to what their game can offer to their fans compared to the other games released. Thus, mentioned by the same source, they have their great respect for the Naughty Dog, however, they will offer other unique upgrades for the game to make it more leveling up.

He added that the game's competitors will be known by Holiday 2015 where most of the games will be released during that time [game releasing season]. Apart from the Uncharted 4, there are also titles likes the Call of Duty, Assassin's Creed games, and the highly-anticipated EA's Star Wars: Battlefront to release this year.

Meanwhile, Rise of the Tomb Raider game developer, Crystal Dynamics, have recently argued to the possible upgrades that they could do for the game as they promised to push Xbox One hardware to their limits. It was mentioned that Brian Horton, game director, claimed that they were not trying to limit the boundaries that the game could possibly do for the Xbox One console.

He said, "For us, we're not limited at all. We're pushing the boundaries for what the Xbox One can do."

He also promised fans that they will not compromise the quality of the game because of the ageing Xbox 360. Thus, Rise of the Tomb Raider will be rolled out in Xbxo 360, and Xbox One during the 2015 Holidays. Two developers will be involved with the console ports. The Xbox 360 port will be under Crystal Dynamics and the Xbox One with Nixxes Software.

Horton said that the Xbox 360 post will be the same with the Xbox One, as the former wll be tuned to adjust to the capacity of the latter. "They're going to do their best to deliver the best 360 game off of what we're able to create from the Rise of the Tomb Raider ... It won't be a different game, but it will be modified to make sure it gets that most out of the 360."

He expressed his excitement to the improvements of the game as he revealed the reboots done to the 2014 Tomb Raider. However, PS4 and PC users will have to wait for the version as the exclusivity deal with Microsoft is still on-going. Square Enix will be looking after the cross-after to other platforms once their deal with Microsoft expires.
