Not because you run fast, you can run away from anything. That's one thing that we have learned from Oscar Pistorius. He might put us in awe because of his speed in the track. However, his name became even more famous when he killed his model girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp.
As of the moment, let's see how Pistorius is doing behind cold bars.
Few weeks ago, it was reported that the infamous athlete is living a 'good' life in prison. He is able to enjoy things that are not usually allowed to average inmates. It was shared that he can already have physical contacts with his visitors. This means he can hug or kiss his brother and sister. Apart from that, he can wear his favorite jewelries and can buy extra goodies inside the prison. Apparently, this is good news to his family.
But I don't think the recent news we have found would make the rest of the Pistorius clan happy. Source says that he is avoiding the cafeteria food prepared in prison. That's because he received threats from other inmates. To stay safe, he eat canned or tinned food. Because of this sudden change in diet, Pistorius is losing weight, to the point that his artificial legs aren't his size already. If he keeps on wearing his prosthetic legs, he might end up injured. So much for living a good life inside his cell.
Based from one report, this athlete goes from caviar to chakalaka. A bit funny for some, but pretty much true.
Come to think of it, that's nothing compared to the agony that the Steenkamps are still facing. They have lost a loved one and they can never get her back. Oscar Pistorius can still gain weight and live a 'somehow' normal life. He should be thankful for that.
