Many fans are anticipating the release of Apple's newest gadget, the iPad Air 3. Knowing Apple, they follow a certain pattern in releasing their products. The iPad Air 1 was released on October and iPad Air 2 was also released on October. So it could be more of a hint for the fans to anticipate and October release for the iPad Air 3 according to News Every Day. However, following also the pattern of their iPad Air devices, there is a 10 day delay so fans might need to extend their patience up to early November.
If the release date follows a pattern and would be much easier to predict, its specs and features might prove to be otherwise. According to MacWorld, iPad Air 3 would be patterned to be of the same size and weight as that of the iPad Air 2. The iPad Air 2 is already considered as one of the thinnest and lightest gadget in the market. It weighs almost half of the original iPad Air and is 6.1 mm thick. Perhaps Apple finds it a bad idea to lessen its size and weight. Users might not want to handle gadgets that are too fragile to handle.
When it comes to their processors, Apple has the tendency to upgrade with every gadget they release to the market. The previous iPad Air runs on an A8X chip processor so Apple will upgrade the processor for their iPad Air 3 to run on an A9X processor which will make the device more efficient by improving its battery life and shortening its charging time.
With so many new devices that are coming in and out of the market, price would certainly be an issue by the time Apple releases its iPad Air 3. The iPad Air 2 at 16GB was given a price of $499 and it's most likely that Apple would be setting the price of the iPad Air 3 around that price.
