As much as people love Marvel movies and the Marvel Cinematic Universe, often the best parts of these movies are the post-credits scenes, which are a fun way to set up future Marvel films and keep audience members glued to their seats. "Captain America: Civil War" will premiere on its May 6, 2016 release date, and while there's been much speculation about the film, the one thing we don't know is what the post-credits teasers might be.
There's one big possibility, which is the first inclusion of Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It's long been rumored that Spider-Man will first appear in the MCU in Captain America: Civil War, and for now it's not clear how big his role might be. WIll it be a major part? Or will it be something small? Something like a post-credits teaser? It's certainly possible.
Another potential rumor is that Captain America: Civil War may set up Avengers: Infinity War with one of its post-credits teasers. After all, that's what Captain America: The Winter Soldier did, showing Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch and Baron Von Strucker, all of whom will be featured in major ways in this summer's Avengers: Age of Ultron. Just like the last film, Captain America: Civil War could contain some post-credit scene of Thanos putting together his Infinity Gauntlet or some sign of the cosmic war to come. Maybe the Guardians of the Galaxy could even show up.
Or, it could involve an increase of Captain America's superpowers.Recently, Chris Evans spoke about the increased power levels of Captain America, how he went from a very strong human in the first film to superhumanly strong in the second.
"Let's not forget that I can't get punched by a human and get knocked down. It just doesn't make sense to me. So that's the only thing and that's a tough thing to, to manage, to try to remember. You know, even in Avengers, I punched a heavy bag across a room. If I hit a person they're not getting back up. It's just the way it's gonna go. We can't do this any other way. That's it. Just trying to keep your finger on that pulse and it's tricky with all these characters."
So that could be a potential post-credit scene as well. Most likely, though, we'll find out a few months before Captain America: Civil War's premiere, as is the case with most Marvel movies.
Captain America: Civil War premieres on May 6, 2016.
