‘Vikings’ Season 3 Episode 4 Spoilers: Floki gets mad about Ecbert; Season 4 premieres May, is it the last one?

'Vikings' Season 3, episode 4 will be pretty intense, as Floki gets angry about Ecbert. Season 4 renewal is certainly to happen, as it is set to premiere on May.

New 'Vikings' Season 3, episode 4 titled 'Scarred' is set to air on March 12 on The History Channel. It was teased that fans should expect intense and exciting scenes, starting with Floxi who will be mad when he found out the alliance with Ecbert. He gets also become indignant of the influence he feels Athelstan has over Ragnar.

It can be remembered that Floki will not be the only one to get under the king's skin in episode 3. It was also seen that Ragnar has face some issues with son.

The official synopsis for episode 4, read as follows: "The victorious Wessex/Viking will force a return to Wessex but there is rancour in the Viking camp. Floki will be angry over the alliance with Ecbert and resentful of the influence that he feels Athelstan has over Ragnar. Princess Kwenthrith will make some calculating political moves following the battle at the Hill of the Ash in Mercia. Visitors from the past, will arrive in Hederby at Kalf's invitation."

Meanwhile, Kalf and Kiggy are expected to go an action in various scenes, based from the photos released in HWHILLS.

On the other report, 'Vikings' Season 4 is pretty sure to happen, as it is going to premiere this May. It was previously reported that producers of the shows have "stumped up €45m" to financially support the upcoming season.

It was also known that it will fund the 16 episodes of the show, which is filmed mostly at Ashford Studios in Co Wicklow and in the surrounding countryside.

As reported by the site, "Vikings had suffered "more than 20 percent" declining rate since Season 1. Moreover, its season 3 debut only drew a "1.0 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 2.8 million viewers" which is more than 20 percent lower than the previous season's premiere airing of 1.3 demo and 3.56 million viewership shares."

It was also reported that site seems to suggest that with the consistent decline of viewership, Season 4 might be the last time that fans will see the exploits of Ragnar and his brave warriors.

For now, 'Vikings' Season 3 continues to air with its episode 4 on March 12 (Thursday) at 10 p.m. on History Channel.
