Ne-Yo was recently in Australia to promote his new sixth album, "Non-Fiction." Though there was an unexpected event that happened resulting to a pause from his interview. On the other hand, the American R&B singer revealed the further details about his album.

Unexpectedly, a false alarm from Australia's Radio Network's Sydney headquarters caused Ne-Yo's rush exit from the interview. The said alarm was a sort of a promotion for Jackie O's perfume.

On the other side, the R&B singer revealed details about his album just recently released this year. One report mentioned about how the album is considered personal to him. He said that every song included in the album linked with his difficult phases of his life especially his break-up of the mom of his two kids.

He said, "Every song on this album is or was inspired by a story. All of these stories happen to be 100% true, some of which are mine. It's everything from break-up of me and the mother of my two kids..."

With the process of making his album, he shared that he has also involved his fans with the creative process based from their shared stories. He was able to gather them through the help of the social media. He cited, "Via social media, I reached out, asking about relationships, dreams, hopes, fears, the whole gambit, and the stories that really resonated with me I wrote songs about."

He was also surprised with the type of responses from the fans. Some of them were negative about sharing their stories to include in his songs. Thus, making 50% of the album tracks from the fans and the rest of the half from his pesonal experiences. "I didn't want to be selfish with it," Ne-Yo said.

The R&B singer's sixth album is said to involves themes like love and sexual conquests. Thus, making his album new and quite unique from the rest since most of the tracks are from his personal tragic downfall as well as from his fans, too.

Ne-Yo also revealed one of the tracks included in his new album titled, "Run" sung by Schoolboy Q. This track is Ne-Yo's one of the standouts since it was inspired from one of his fans' responses about his personal tragic experience wherein he was trapped with a woman who seduced him to destroy his current relationship. For Ne-Yo, this tragic experience from his fan is really good for a song inspiration.

He also cited big names in the music industry who also collaborated with his album. He mentioned Drake, Rihanna, Beyonce, Jay-Z, Kanye West, Prince, Stevie Wonder, Ed Sheeran, Adele, Lana Del Ray, and more. However, some of these artists were still unclear if they will really be in his album.

Ne-Yo's "Non-Fiction" album is available in iTunes and Spotify with 19 tracks included.
