'Winds of Winter' 2016 Release Delay Caused by 'A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms'? George R.R. Martin Gives hope to Winterfell

By

Despite the rumors that a 2015 release of the much awaited "The Winds of Winter", 6th installment of the Game of Thrones: A Song of Fire and Ice is on the works, Martin's UK publicists denies the possibility of releasing the book this year. She recently answered a fan query on her Twitter account regarding the release of the book and claimed that the book was never included in their 2015 publication schedule.

Fans are already starting to complain and claimed that is has almost been 4 years since the George R.R. Martin started with the series 6th installment. Every book under the A Song of Fire and Ice is around a thousand pages and it may have been already excruciating for someone like GRRM to complete such feat at a short span of time.

Martin seems to be working on the book and even posted this on his blog, "But not I am home again, facing the usual mountain of mail and email, and of course the monkeys on my back...those noisiest of them being HIGH STAKE, volume twenty-three in the Wild Cards series, and of course the Son of Kong, The WINDS OF WINTER.

The famous actor is also very busy with another Game of Thrones book, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. The said book takes place a century before the current events in the A Game of Thrones: A Song of Fire and Ice. The book is also rumored to be released this 2015, making fans speculate that the author is unfocused and juggling his schedule between the two books. With the rate of the developments, a 2016 release might actually happen.

On the other hand, Daenerys is still having big troubles with regards to her dragons. Drogon is still on the loose and she still remains unsure on how she can control their hunger for flesh. She will definitely win the war for the Iron Throne thanks to her dragons but will be constantly hunted by the mischiefs of her monstrous children.

As for Winterfell, there is still hope in its redemption. Rickon Stark managed to escape to Skagos and will eventually find his way back home. He was even once upon a time rumored to be the one who will rule on the Iron Throne after Daenerys fall due to her dragons. Bran is still well and alive and is destined to greatness as he learn "magic" and discovers the mystical powers of the old gods.
