The long wait is over for the fans of Hip Hop artist Kendrick Lamar. The sources have confirmed that the 27 year-old rapper has really been quite busy with working on the very much anticipated new record.
The California-born rapper and songwriter had garnered critical acclaim and popularity with the release of his certified platinum debut album entitled "good kid, m.A.A.d city" back in 2012.
Last September, Lamar had released a single from his unreleased third studio album called "i," which had won him Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards.
The "Poetic Justice" and "Swimming Pools (Drank)" hit maker recently posted on Twitter a sort of teaser for his highly-anticipated album. The tweet was reported to contain an iTunes link which seemed to showcase the line-up of his newest songs that would appear on his soon-to-be-released album. The link posted on Twitter also revealed that the album will actually be called, "Untitled." The 16 unknown tracks will feature the renowned rapper's latest hip hop single "The Blacker the Berry." The cover art of the album, which fans have also been anticipating, appeared to only be a simple, all-black canvas.
The Black Hippy super-group member who had previously collaborated with American hip hop superstar Lil Wayne on several music projects recently declared, although without quotable confirmation, that his long-awaited follow-up studio album will be set to hit the record stores in March this year.
The rapper stated in an interview in reaction to the high expectations which rooted from his wild, consecutive successes: "If I keep focusing on, 'I need to make something better than good kid,' it's going to be just that," and "That's not challenging yourself. I don't want to become that person reflecting on what has been done."
Rumors also circulated the online world regarding the tour that might possibly follow the release of the rapper's third studio album.
