OnePlus is eyeing yet another major surprise through its next flagship phone, the OnePlus Two. This time, though, it will be the phone's design that will do the job.
Latest rumors reveal that the OnePlus Two will sport a metal design and will undergo polishing for a finer, premium looking design. According to GizChina, OnePlus is more likely to stick with the current flagship's phone 5.5-inch screen than the initial rumors of a smaller screen.
If there's a feature in this department that will receive a boost, it is the display screen and the thinness of the handset, said GizChina. One Plus Two will have a QHD display screen and a thinner body by means of narrower bezels.
In terms of hardware, the OnePlus Two is rumored to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor paired with 4GB of RAM, 3300mAh battery, and the LG G Flex 2.
The question is when will be the launching of this low-cost, high-quality Android phone? What we know is that it is coming this year either in the second or third quarter of the year, although a June release is speculated by many to be more likely.
Forbes mentioned in one of its reports that it is the delay in the manufacturing of Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processors that hinders the company from sticking to its launching timeline. However, Android Info said that it is the still strong sales of the first gen smartphone that keeps OnePlus from releasing the next flagship phone. It won't be long for the price of OnePlus One to drop significantly to clear the inventory and give way for the OnePlus Two.
Like OnePlus One, which was recently made available to 16 European countries, the OnePlus Two will be released gloabally as well. By June it is speculated to arrive in major Asian and European markets and later in USA and Canada probably in the last week of June or first week of July .
It should not come as a major surpise if the next flagship phone will be called OnePlus 2.
