Fifty Shades of Grey film has been banned in Indonesia, India, Cambodia and Malaysia by Vietnam's censorship committee due to the sexual scenes in the movie. The censors committee said that the movie was "more pornography than a movie".
Even Vietnam has decided to allow Fifty Shades of Grey in the country's big screens, the country's censorship committee has made sure that the most of the said scenes were cut wherein about 20minutes of the fun stuffs has been omitted and only few kissing scenes remained.
In a report, a moviegoer who saw the edited version of the movie has expressed his opinion that "It's totally ridiculous. This version is rated 16+ but it doesn't need an age restriction. A five year old could watch it. Even the trailer was sexier. They'd have been better off banning it altogether
The movie has been very controversial which has been adapted from E.L. James erotic trilogy . It has officially passed the $500 million mark at the worldwide box office as of March 4, 2015. The Universal/Comcast Corp. film has earned $156, 850, 835 domestic gross income and $371, 300, 000 overseas for a total of $528, 150, 835 worldwide as of March 10, 2015 at 12:06 P.M. Pacific Time.
Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan will be returning to hit the big screen to play again their role as Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey in Fifty Shades of Grey sequels. In an interview, the actress revealed that in the new sequel, Anastasia goes through a transition phase as she grows as an individual and become a new woman. "She goes through such an ark in the first book and really like explores herself in this whole other world. In the second book, I think Anna becomes a woman," Jamie said.
Johnson has added that it's a really interesting to portray the role of a woman who finally becomes accepting herself. Since the Fifty Shades franchise is growing and that he's been called back to repeat his role as billionaire businessman Mr. grey which made him believe that he approached his role excellently. He said, I feel good about where I wanted to take him and what I felt with him. We'll see different side of him so I'm looking forward to exploring that."
It has been reported that the said sequel will follow Grey as he is forced to deal with his inner demons while his love interest would have to deal with her insecurities on the women of Mr. Grey's past.
Fifty Shades Darker will be introduced in cinemas in late 2016 wherein official release dates have yet to be confirmed.
