‘The Sims 4’ already 12,000 Sim years old since launch; ‘Get to Work’ expansion pack launches new exciting careers to gamers

"The Sims 4" gamers would be amused and surprised to learn that they have already spanned over 12,205 SIM years in playing the title that was released last September 2014. In a recent blog, EA made an infographic on what gamers had done in those 12,000 year.

Gamers have already created over 32 million Sims since the launch of "The Sims 4." It seemed that a lot of gamers have been busy populating the new game and this number has kept on growing. Still on that, around 5.7 million babies have been born in the last six months; talk about a baby boom!

Now with the fast growing population of Sims in "The Sims 4," it wouldn't be a wonder that love had beaten fortune in the aspiration category. Around 40% of adults Sims were married while 2% were divorced; it seemed that love life would be sweeter in "The Sims 4" universe. To top that all up, Sims get 4 times more woohoos than real people per month. Now, that's nuts! It seemed that gamers were throwing out their frustrations at their creations. Wonder how many gamers had made their Sim versions and married it to their crushes' Sim versions. Right?

Going back, around 21 million careers have been started since the game launch. However, that would not be all, Sims earned an average of 399,730 Simoleons. Wow! I guess it would truly payout to be a Sim.

Add to that, it seemed that even growing old was sweet in "The Sims 4." Around 32% of Sims died of old age; however, accidents would not be avoided as 14% died in fires. Also, there would certainly be sadistic gamers around there as 18% died of hunger. Seriously, how could a Sim die out of hunger . . . unintentionally? Then there's the curious statistic that roughly 3,000 Sims died because of laughter.

Meanwhile, the "Get to Work" expansion would be released next month. The developers of "The Sims 4" have released a new trailer for the expansion pack where gamers would be able to play with their characters while at work. Earlier versions of the game would only allow gamers to wait for Sims to finish the work hours (or cancel going to work) before being able to play the character at the Sim's house or elsewhere in the community.

Although Maxis had already shutdown, EA promised to keep "The Sims" legacy alive and this could be proven upon the release of the "Get to Work" expansion. For the time being, get to work and keep building that wonderful Sim story.
