NetherRealm Studios' "Mortal Kombat X" would soon be launched and its playable characters and arenas had been revealed by the developers. However, this information would not be conclusive up until the game's release date.

NetherRealm Studios shared a lot of information prior to the release of the game. However, there were still details that have just recently been revealed. First off, gamers should know that the developers included interactive environments that could be used to turn the game to their favor.

Among these interactive environments would be Kuatan Jungle, Refugee Camp, the Destroyed City, Crossroads, Outworld Market, Dead Woods and Kove. These arenas would give out a variety of useful objects that gamers could use; some of the arenas would also be exceptionally beneficial to certain characters. However, gamers should also be warned that the arenas might also have hidden challenges that would make the game more exciting.

Meanwhile, the developers have also confirmed the initial set of playable characters: Cassie Cage, Jacqueline Briggs, Kung Jin, Takashi Takeda, D'Vorah, Ferra & Torr, Kotal Kahn, Ermac, Goro, Johnny Cage, Kano, Kitana, Kung Lao, Mileena, Quan Chi, Raiden, Reptile, Scorpion and Sub-Zero. "Mortal Kombat X" would also feature the all-time favorites in the game system, which would be Fatalities and Brutalities.

Then, there would be another treat coming to avid gamers as the developers of "Mortal Kombat X" confirmed that they would also be releasing a companion app in iOS for the game. NetherRealm Studios creative director Ed Boon confirmed that the companion app would "expand the unique cross-connectivity feature that links the mobile and console versions, delivering unique rewards to all gamers for simply playing the game," based on a report from Science Fiction.

Add to that, PC or console gamers would be able to unlock exclusive content by linking the game's mobile version to their Free WB Play account and completing certain achievements and tasks. "Mortal Kombat X" would be released on PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC on April 14th.
