Rockstar Games faced troubles with the game servers when the Grand Theft Auto V (GTA V) launched last March 10, Tuesday. Immediately, the game developer responded about an immediate fix to these bug occurred. Reports said that until now, the Online Heists are still under maintenance.
Though they have already announced that the Heists are now playable and has resumed to normal, as saying, "Full access has been restored to GTA Online and all services has been resumed as normal" from their latest statements.
Across all platforms, these issues were prevalent especially for the Xbox users who still can't access GTA V Online Heists until this moment. These troubles included Live service features such as purchasing new content, dowloading and even signing in. In addition to these reports, only those Xbox 360 users were deeply affected with the server errors. The Xbox One as well as the current generation console users have no problems at all.
Currently, gamers still waited for the free download of GTA V additions while waiting for the PC version to arrive. Those who were able to access the Heists -- current generation console users -- can also download the patches, the new feature included in the Heists missions.
As of yesterday, Rockstar Games announced that everything has resumed to normal. Thus, it might include the old generation consoles like the Xbox 360, which previously reported to have problems compared to the current-gen consoles.
Meanwhile, GTA V Online Heists patches included new vehicles, new graphic options and more. According to Rockstar, there will be 12 vehicles available, yet, not in the Story Mode, as mentioned, "The vehicles from Heists are not available in Story Mode at this time. If you received at text that these vehicles are available, we apologize but that message was incorrect."
For further information about the new vehicles in the missions, the fans were advised to inform the game developer themselves through sending an email "GTAOnline@rockstargames.com" to see the new vehicle feature.
GTA V Online Heists has been released this week, with the usual game server errors, with new gameplay features. The game is available in multiple platforms. PC version to come some time after.
