'Street Fighter V: Mad Catz' Release Date: Game partners Capcom for Branded FightSticks, FightPads, Tournament Editions, and More

Capcom will likely to partner with Mad Catz, the peripheral specialists, for the upcoming Street Fighter V rumored to release this Spring 2015.

It was reported that Capcom and Mad Catz partnered for developing controllers for Street Fighter V since three years. From their partnership, they have sold numberous Street Fighter IV-branded FightSticks in 2008 for around $200 each.

Currently, Mad Catz shared that they are still developing the peripherals to use for the upcoming game. Thus, they cannot release statements that these controllers already available in the market since they are still getting into the designs.

These peripherals, according to Mad Catz, will be compatible with current generation consoles. Capcom will be releasing the game in these platforms because of Sony console excusivity agreement. Therefore, with its release in spring this year, users will avail this game only in PS4 and Xbox One.

Mad Catz chief executive Darren Richardson revealed that upon the initial release of the game, it will be in PS4 as he expressed his excitement with their partnership with Capcom through the game's controllers, as saying, "Street Fighter is the most renowned fighting game franchise in gaming and we're excited to be part of Street Fighter V, the first title in the series to launch in PlayStation 4."

He added that these controllers for the game will give gamers much more precision as well as it will be quality-wise. "More passionate gamers choose our range of fighting game controllers over any other as they demand quality and precision to help provide a winning edge. We're confident that our new range will continue to establish Mad Catz as category leaders and prove highly popular to established fighting game players and those new to the series."

They are set to provide Street Fighter V their branded FightSticks, Tournament Edition FightSticks and FightPads during the game's launching. In addiiton, the said peripheral manufacturers will be part of Capcom's Pro Tour as "Premium Sponsor."

Capcom's Pro Tour will incude series of competitive eSports gaming tournaments including Street Fighter V.
