With Gears of War series have received almost all positive feedbacks from their gameplay, undoubtedly, for the upcoming Gears of War 4, Black Tusk, the development team working behind, remained silent about its progress since its first announcent in 2014. On the other side, former game creator, Cliff Bleszinski recently released video footages for his upcoming free-to-play game, "Bluestreak."
Black Tusk has remained silent with the development progress since last year, when the game was first announced, IGN reported. Until now, the release date hasn't been confirmed yet until this moment though the platforms were already fixed.
Acccording to the source, Gears of War 4 will be in Xbox One platform, published by Microsoft, after getting the game franchise from Epic Games last January 24, 2014. During that time, Epic Games sold its Intellectual Property Rights for the franchise. Then, Microsoft gave these same rights to Black Tusk, new studio, to continue the game development.
Since that time, no in-depth information were released nor confirmed by the team about the progress, details, especially the gameplay of Gears of War 4. Thus, these information remained unknown. Yet, they seemed to be very busy with their competitive gaming LAN event coordination, "Hypefestation."
Hypefestation, mentioned by their official website, is a Gears of War community dedicated to build passion and energy for the game franchise. Recently, Black Tusk tweeted about their next online event including the rosters lock for GB ladder this Monday, March 16, by saying, "Don't forget ROSTERS LOCK for the GB ladder AND our online tourney Aftermath, March 16 at 11:59 EST! Be sure to add a Sub if necessary."
Meanwhile, former Gears of War creator, Cliff Bleszinski showed his first screenshots for the free-to-play game, "Bluestreak," codenamed by Boss Key Productions. It was mentioned that the game appearance is a mixture of traditional Japanese imagery and sci-fi. This is most noticeable as the game is blended with the classical gaming system.
However, at the end, same with Gears of War 4, no information about its release were announced yet. Fans should be more patient while waiting until these two big titles will be launched officially.
