Stars of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" TV reality show Bruce and Kris Jenner have been separated and ended their 22 years of marriage for more than a year now. Recent report have revealed that the former Olympic athlete has discovered a new love interest in the person of ex-wife Kris's best friend, Ronda Kamihira.
The 59 year-old mother of the Kardashian siblings was reportedly "extremely upset" and felt "devastated" upon learning the news. An insider shared, "It really stings because Ronda never told Kris she started seeing Bruce." Another insider added, "She's so sad and completely heartbroken."
Ronda is a mother of 2 and divorced as well. She and Kris have been friends for the longest time and have been neighbors in their residence in California. According to a source, Ronda's daughters have grown up to be friends with Kendall and Kylie. Aside from being a best friend, Ronda was additionally Kris' assistant for 20 years.
Bruce and Kamihira were first publicly spotted at one of Elton John's concert in Los Angeles.
Shortly after the divorce papers were filed, Kendall Jenner took to Instagram to post old photos of her parents during the time of their happy marriage. A source claimed that the divorce was a mutual decision. "It's all done and there's no drama or messiness. They worked out all details over the last few months," the source explained.
Kim Kardashian on the other hand expressed her disappointment at Bruce Jenner's decision to date her mom's best friend. Kim emotionally asserted that it was a wrong decision for Bruce to date Kamihira since the divorce has not been made legally official yet.
Regarding their divorce, Kris had stated: "We're better apart than we are together. At the same time, we have children together, and we have memories and holidays and traditions. I don't want to give that up." She assured that close ties will always remain between them and Bruce.
Khloe Kardashian once stated that, "It makes me sad that people think Bruce is no longer a part of my life. I talk to him every day! I consider him my second father." Adding, "Bruce is always going to be here, because he's my best friend and I adore him."
Bruce Jenner helped in raising the Kardashian siblings with Kris who got divorced from the late Robert Kardashian in 1991.
