As the scheduled release date for "Rise of the Tomb Raider" is getting closer this year, gameplay and weapons were gathered to give theories on how could the next title looks like based from the surmised gameplay and weapons geared for Lara Croft.

Recently, Crystal Dynamics, the game developer of "Tomb Raider," hinted fans about the gameplay as well as the weapons that players could use for the entire game.

Through some resources, it was theorized that the storyline of "Rise of the Tomb Raider" will be based from Lara Croft's past experiences that brought her to the present life. Lara Croft actress Camilla Luddington said that the protagonist was wounded from her experiences in the first game because of the inability of the real world to take her trials seriously.

Because of the fact tha Croft was being consumed by these tribulations she's facing, she will be hunting down treasures more than before. Luddington said in an interview, "There is this drive behind her in this game to let the world know that she is not lying."

Proof of how the real world denied her claims of these truths, she was in a psychologist's office tracing her memories, showed last E3 2014 debut trailer. Through this, Croft was able to make her image from her past traumas.

Setting aside the storyline, weapons also excite gamers. Lara Croft will be equipped with staples like handgun, rifle, tactical knife including her trademark bow and arrows and an axe for killing as well as for climbing.

There was another report saying that the upcoming game might include Lara Croft's apartment and mansion. The concept art that revolved around Rise of the Tomb Raider is Croft's stay in her apartment, situated in London. Brian Horton, Rise of the Tomb Raider's Art Director mentioned.

He added that the protagonist has a lot of books and materials around for her in-depth research. Apart from her apartment, she'll also stay in her mansion, however, Horton doesn't want to discuss about it yet.

With these being said, fans could really guess that there will be another sets of backstories to include in the gameplay since there's a need of explanation of how Croft was able to get her mansion.

"Rise of the Tomb Raider" will be released in Xbox 360, and Xbox One platforms this year.
