The latest challenge in "Pokémon Shuffle" would undoubtedly put pressure on "Pokémon" gamers as the top prize in the event would not only be offered on a limited time but also on a limited supply. The road to getting a Lucarionite would be a race to obtaining the highest score on the board.
The Lucario Competitive Stage event in "Pokémon Shuffle" would entitle gamers to grab a Lucarionite if they managed to get the highest score in the game. Compared to earlier challenges, the current challenge would only be offering 20,000 Lucarionite in the US to over a million "Pokémon Shuffle" gamers, based on a report from Technology Tell.
There would be consolation prizes in beating the game. However, the ultimate challenge would be to get the featured mega stone needed to mega evolve the rare Pokémon Lucario. "Pokémon Shuffle" gamers could always check the board if they're close to getting a Lucarionite before the event ends or before all the mega stones have been won.
Meanwhile, "Pokémon Shuffle" gamers needed to update to version 1.1.3 in order to open the Lucario Competitive Stage event in the special section of the game. Add to that, the update would also allow the gamers to track their progress in the event, based on a report from iDigital Times.
The "Pokémon Shuffle" Lucario Competitive Stage event would run from March 16th to March 23rd. While 20,000 Lucarionite would be up for grabs in North America, 50,000 Lucarionite would be rewarded to top gamers in Japan and the EU.
"Pokémon Shuffle" had been conducting special events since it was released. Several rare and legendary Pokémon had been given out as rewards to competing gamers. Among the Pokémon that were featured in "Pokémon Shuffle" would be Rotom, Mew and Kyogre. The challenges usually run for a week, with winners getting the featured Pokémon during the event's schedule.
However, this would be the only time "Pokémon Shuffle" would offer a limited number of top prizes for highest scoring gamers.
