Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin is now finally set to release this coming April 2 in the United Kingdom after being moved from April 6 due to Easter Monday holiday. The next-generation Dark Soul videogame features new exciting enemy placement, alterations in surviving areas and an expanded storyline.

The latest patch of Dark Souls expands the original's multiplayer and primary storytelling, including the new character called "the Scholar of the First Sin." Changes and additions include versions in the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One where new traps, enemies and mechanics to locations have new content.

Recently, developer From Software and Bandai Namco reported that a new content ranging from 8 to 10 hours is documented in the latest patch.

Heide Knights now sit around in almost every part of Tower of Flame. When Dragonrider Boss gets conquered, the Heide Knights will start to stroll around. Note that only one of the three knights must be conquered at the circle to make the control come out. While the Dragon rider Boss has to be crushed before proceeding to the Cathedral of Blue. A new Guardian Dragon protects the lever leading to the Old Dragonslayer. Enemies in new-fangled plan will haunt the tunnel connecting Tower of Flame to No-Man's Wharf.

No-Man's Wharf has different schemes for low level enemies than the previous installment. The area becomes darker than before to reveal new lighting tech while ambiance and visuals change as torches are lighted in the course of time. To add difficulty to mobility, water level rises during the boss battle in this area, while a new shortcut has been created as a premium.

Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin offers half of the game's features as exclusive while the other half is already available to the original game as a free update.

Other features in the free update include new NPC/boss, enhanced matchmaking, and new item descriptions that expand the lore. Scholar of the First Sin adds better performance with 1080p/60fps with all the game's DLC expansions, fiercer foe Al and the ability to play together with other players at once.

Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin's April 7 U.S. release remains unconfirmed if it will be affected by the changes made in the United Kingdom.
