Gal Gun Sequel 'Double Peace' to have a Summer 2015 Release in Japan

Gal Gun, a Japanese rail shooter game, was announced recently to have a sequel. Inti Create, the producer of the game, had named the sequel as " Gal Gun Double Peace".

The game will be made available for Play Station 4 and Play Station Vita. Siliconera reports that the game is expected to be released in the summer of 2015 in Japan.

The original game was released on January 27, 2011 which was made available for Xbox 360 users only. However, a PlayStation support was developed to spread the game to the Play Station users.

The original story of the game is centered on the male protagonist Tenzou. Tenzou is a high school student who was accidentally shot many times with Cupid Arrows by Patako. Patako is an angel in training. The result of the accident was that Tenzou had earned the ability to be irresistible when it comes to the opposite sex. In that short span of time, Tenzou had become the most popular guy in his school.

Well, that is one lucky guy. However, not all good things are meant to last. By the time the effects of the Cupids Arrow fade out, Tenzou will be destined to eternal loneliness. But this can stopped from happening if he finds his true love.

The gameplay is simple enough and kawaii enough. As the player walks to the school, he is attacked by high school girls who will try to profess their love. The player can then protect himself by shooting "pheromone shots" which will make the girls drop to the floor in ecstasy. There will also be boss battles and a "doki doki" mode (doki doki in Japanese means the beating of the heart). All of this must be done while the player tries to build a romance with the four main female characters. This pretty much sounds like an Otome game.

The Gal Gun sequel or the Gal Gun Double Peace will be featuring 70 girls in total. Plus, the love expression features will be updated. Sounds like a good game for harem and otome game lovers.
