"The Hateful Eight" which is stylized as "H8ful Eight" is fittingly the 8th film from Quentin Tarantino. It is scheduled to premiere on November 13, 2015 as the cast and crew films in Telluride, Collorado. Recent report reveals the films intriguing plot which makes it a good contender in The Oscar Academy Awards.
FILMING IN TELLURIDE
The cast and crew of "The Hateful Eight" is currently filming in Telluride, Collorado and their presence in the small town has provide a lot of opportunities to its businesses. Telluride Mayor Stu Fraser said that "From a tourism perspective, the ripple effects of having The Hateful Eight in Telluride are beyond comprehension."
However, it is not the first location chosen by the crew of "The Hateful Eight". Fraser elaborated that the upcoming Quentin Tarantino film is set to film at Powder Mountain, Utah but John Minor, the location manager, intervened saying that Telluride will be the perfect place to shoot the film.
Quentin Tarantino was very interested in Telluride, Colorado as the primary location for "The Hateful Eight" since the upcoming film is required to be filmed in winter and snow season is just around the corner in the said location.
THE H8FUL EIGHT PLOT
Quentin Tarantino's latest film is set in a post-Civil War western frontier and it will feature familiar "Tarantino film actors" including Samuel L. Jackson as Major Marquis Warren, Kurt Russell as John "The Hangman" Ruth, Tim Roth as Oswaldo Mobray, Michael Madsen as Joe Gage.
New faces will also join the upcoming film including Jennifer Jason Leigh as Daisy Domergue, Walton Goggins as Chris Mannix, Demian Bichir as Bob, and Bruce Dern General Sanford Smithers. Channing Tatum was casted but his role is still kept secret.
The Hateful Eight is set around 6 to 12 years after the Civil War in the wintry Wyoming landscape. The story revolves around the lives of eight persons including the bounty hunter John Ruth and his fugitive Daisy Domergue who is heading to Red Rock where he will bring her to justice. On their way, the two will encounter two strangers which are Major Marquis Warren, a former Union officer, and Chris Mannix who is a Southern outlaw which is also the new town sheriff. A blizzard will set in and the four will seek refuge at Minnie Haberdashy, a stagecoach stopover on the mountain pass. There they will meet with other occupants and four guests including Bob, the Red Rock hangman Oswaldo Morbray, Joe Gage, and Confederate General Smithers. Tension will arise among the stranded travellers as the blizzard storm rages on outside.
The upcoming film's plot is intriguing and the previous work of Quentin Tarantino in the film industry makes him a worthy contender for The Oscars Academy Award this year. The legendary director may nab another award for "The Hateful Eight" considering that he has scored also numerous Academy Awards in Django Unchained and Inglourious Basterds.
"The Hateful Eight" is set to be released on November 13, 2015. It will be the eight film from Quentin Tarantino and fans of the legendary director is rooting for it to be one of The Oscars nominee this year.
