"American Horror Story" will be back on air on October 2015 as the show has been renewed for Season 5. Jessica Lange has finally said her goodbye to the AHS family as series creator, Ryan Murphy welcomes new cast members.
JESSICA LANGE LEAVES FOR GOOD
Jessica Lange has been a recurring cast member of the long running series anthology "American Horror Story". FX Channel has just renewed the show for Season 5 with "Hotel" as its new theme. Lange is considered to be the series highlight and she had won numerous awards for her work in the series including two Emmys, a Golden Globe, and a SAG Award.
However, Jessica Lange will not be coming back for the fifth time with her beloved show saying that "We've had a great run. I have absolutely loved doing these four characters, and in all the madness, I loved the writers, actors, [showrunner / series creator] Ryan [Murphy], the whole insanity of it, the stories, shooting here, shooting in New Orleans, everything. To cut to the chase, yes, I'm done."
NEW CAST MEMBERS
Even though Jessica Lange will leave the show for good, there are several new actors and actresses that will join the American Horror Story Season 5 line up. This includes, Lady Gaga, Matt Bomer and Cheyenne Jackson. It is still not clear on whether they will be recurring characters in the upcoming season but they will be an interesting addition to AHS Hotel cast.
The anthology series creator, Ryan Murphy, has confirmed that Wes Bentley to be a new regular to the upcoming American Horror Story Hotel. He said that he was "Thrilled to announce Wes Bentley will be a series regular on AHS: Hotel." Wes Bentley first appeared in the American Horror Story Season 4: Freak Show as Edward Mordrake, who is like a grim reaper that can be summoned during Holloween.
American Horror Story Season 5: Hotel will premiere on air on October 2015. There will be a huge adjustment in the show now that Jessica Lange won't be returning in the upcoming season. Hopefully the new cast members will be able to fill up the hole left by Lange. Stay in tune for more updates!
