The Android 5.0 Lollipop is the largest and the most ambitious software release that Android had ever made. Many successful mobile companies have hosted the Android made software in their flagship smart phones. Those companies are Samsung, Nexus, and many more. However, no matter how close to perfection a software is, there would still be some things that are overlooked.
Currently, bug issues are being reported to the Android forum regarding the Android 5.0 Lollipop. These bugs caused some of the smart phones to lag or some of their apps just crash without prior notification.
According to the report by Christian Today, many Nexus users have been experiencing bugs that foil their smart phone's system when they updated to the Android 5.0 L. Specifically, Nexus 9, Nexus 5, and Nexus 7 users had been having problems in updating their device. The update process is supposed to switch the present build LRX21L to LRX21Q. But instead seamlessly switching, an error message appears that reboots and reverts the system back to the original LRX21L. Another bug issue that Nexus users experience is that a bug would hinder their smart phones from obtaining or connecting to a Wireless Connection.
Samsung Galaxy S5 users have also complained regarding the Android 5.0 Lollipop upgrade. The Samsung Galaxy S5 is reported to have battery issues after the update. The battery goes down quickly to 95 % just seconds after plugging from the power source, according to VC Post. This battery issue is also experienced by some Nexus 5 users. OnePlus One users have also complained that their 3000 mAH battery does not even reach half day and drains of its battery.
HTC One M8 users have reported an Android 5.0 L update problem. The update was said to bring bugs that affect their keyboard and freeze or close apps without warning.
The Android 5.0 Lollipop update was designed to fix bugs, however, it brought with it some bugs as well. We hope that Android addresses the problem soon with their next software update.
