'How to Get Away with Murder' Season 2 will welcome audience with one mystery: Rebecca's death. The primary season leaves everyone in cliffhanger. The major concern for the upcoming season is finding out who the real suspect is. Many have speculated that Wes Gibbins could be responsible for her death.
The show's first big mystery was that one major character was killed in the last few minutes of the season one finale, after it was revealed that Frank killed Lila. Now, viewers are eager to find out who was responsible for killing Rebecca.
A promo video for the hit ABC series said, "We promised you a killer twist and you got it. We'll be back with a whole new season of insanity."
A poll conducted by Entertainment Weekly suggested that Wes Gibbins might be responsible for Rebecca's death. It was reported, that Wes was also involved in the murder of Sam (Tom Verica), making him a possible suspect. He was also part of the Keating 4. Furthermore, Wes and Rebecca's relationship were unstable during last season's finale episode.
Elsewhere, Connor and Oliver have been through so many ups and downs, especially after learning that Oliver was HIV positive. Creator Pete Nowalk told EW where Connor-Oliver relationship goes.
He said, "How it affects the relationship is going to be twisty and turny and hard."
He went to say, "Whether they stay together or not, they're really bonded, and Connor feels very grateful for how much Oliver's helped him-even though Oliver doesn't know it-through the post-murder stuff. Connor has a good heart and wants Oliver to be okay. Just watching him feel that distraught and scared at the end with the news that he's positive, Connor needs to figure out what his role is in the relationship now."
Previously, actor Charlie Weber also revealed some bits of information about the upcoming season.
"It's very exciting. We found out last night after the finale, but I think the writing was on the wall even though there wasn't anything official," the actor, who plays Frank, told E! Online. "Our jaws would have been on the floor if we weren't back for season two. But no, I know nothing about where we're going to go. That's the beauty of it. It is wide open. There are so many places we could go."
