Miles Teller is one of the rising stars of this generation who has the potential of becoming a certified A-list actor with a large following. After getting movie fans' attention in his performance in 'Divergent,' Teller went on and made a statement that he should be taken as a serious actor by appearing in 'Whiplash', which was nominated for Best Picture in the 87th Academy Awards.
Of course, Teller's popularity came with its downsides, such as the negative backlash that resulted from his comments on starring in 'Divergent' last year, something that he later on clarified in an interview with W Magazine (reported by The Huffington Post). The 28-year-old actor told The Huffington Post how frustrating it was to see his words "explode" on the web.
"I felt like the sentiment or what I was saying was misconstrued and you don't have the opportunity to say, 'This is kind of what it was.' It's already out there and you can't bring it back in because it had taken off."
In spite of the issue, Teller's career seems to go nowhere but up. He still has three more films to go with the 'Divergent' series (including the upcoming 'Insurgent'), and the upcoming 'Fantastic Four' reboot, which can establish him as a box office draw if the film does well.
Speaking of the upcoming reboot of the beloved comic book film franchise, Teller stated in an interview with Screen Crush that he and the other cast members will be wearing the traditional Fantastic Four costumes aside from the ones shown in the first trailer. When talking about the suits that were seen in the first trailer, Teller said:
"These are the beta versions of the costumes, which is great... But, yeah it would be very odd if the Fantastic Four didn't don the traditional costumes. You've got to. There is some servicing there. You've got to give that to the fans. That's what it's all about."
It is good to know that the first superhero family will get to wear the uniforms that fans have come to know them four, although they probably would only be donning the costumes later on in the film.
