"Suicide Squad" is scheduled to premiere in theaters on August 5, 2016. While it is still too early to determine the plot, recent reports surfaced stating that Batman could appear as the "Bogeyman" in the upcoming movie. Jackie Earle Haley may also join the cast as the Thinker DC Villain. Jai Courtney is currently learning different martial arts as he fills Captain Boomerang's role.
BATMAN AS THE BOOGEYMAN
Batman may make his appearance in the upcoming "Suicide Squad" movie and according to reports he can fill be the big "bogeyman" for the supervillain group which the government really hates. Additionally, Batman's role is also considered to be pivotal in the plot of the film since he has encountered mostly all of the members of the Suicide Squad. It was also reported that Batman is tracking down all "the supers" in the upcoming film.
NEW CAST
The Thinker can make an appearance in the "Suicide Squad" and he could be portrayed by Jackie Earle Haley. Haley is not new to the superhero movies since he has been casted before in Alan Moore's "Watchmen" as Rorschach. There are several versions of the Thinker in the DC Universe and more than one incarnation of the villain joined the Suicide Squad.
Jai Courtney who is going to fill up the role of Captain Boomerang in "Suicide Squad" is currently training different martial arts discipline. "I've been training for three months in different martial arts," explaining that "As you can imagine for that superhero world, the athletic expectations are rather high."
The actor also expressed his excitement with the upcoming film saying that "I play an Aussie, which is going to be really fun." However he kept mum over the plot of the "Suicide Squad" and said that "I can't reveal anything about the plot," but he reassured that. "I'm working with a great cast. It's a wonderful group, and I'm really pumped to be working among them. It's going to be a huge action film, very visual, but grounded in the characters."
"Suicide Squad" is set for release on August 5, 2016 and it is currently being filmed under the helm of David Ayer with Margot Robbie, Will Smith, Jai Courtney and Jared Leto, among its cast members.
