'Bloodborne' to feature procedurally generated maps in Chalice Dungeons; Pre-load now live at PSN

As the PS4 exclusive "Bloodborne" would be launched on March 24th, gamers had been sharing details about the anticipated game over the Internet. Add to that, the "Bloodborne" Pre-Load would now be available at PSN.

Developed by From Software and published by Sony Computer Entertainment, "Bloodborne" would be a PS4 exclusive that should make avid gamers with weak constitutions shrill with fear as they face diabolical monsters in an eerie landscape. Gamers likened that game with the "Souls" series. However, "Bloodborne" would feature the regain system that would be entirely unique to the game and would encourage gamers to be more aggressive.

The system would allow gamers to "claw that health back by launching a well-timed counter attack," based on a report from Gamespot. Add to that, the game would have the Chalice Dungeons feature that would present to gamers "procedurally generated maps" under the city of Yharnam. Procedurally generated maps would provide fresh environments to gamers every time they entered the Chalice Dungeons in "Bloodborne;" this would also allow the gamers to formulate new strategies the moment they stepped in the dungeons again.

If things got spooky for gamers, they could also rely on some back-up from friends as "Bloodborne" would feature a co-op multiplayer and player-vs-player mode. Gamers could host their own session or join in a co-op; however, gamers would become more susceptible to attacks once they join in a co-op.

Meanwhile, the "Bloodborne" pre-load had been made available in PSN. The 5.04 GB pre-load that went live would also include the 2.69 GB day 1 patch totaling to over 7 GB of HD space, based on a report from Gear Nuke. However, the entire game would be around 25.3 GB and would require gamers to have about 41 GB of HD space in their PS4.

"Bloodborne" was directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki, creator for the "Souls" series as well as other horror themed video games.
