Everyone was so hyped after Liam Payne, 21, gave the "Irish boy" Niall Horan a peck on the cheek after a fan asked them to take a selfie on stage. Nothing has stopped the fans to sing along with the lads-not even the rain fell. As per Spinnr Philippines tweeted: "We don't care about the rain!"
Last night was certainly a blast for all the Filipino directioners. The gates opened at 5PM, and the ecstatic fans rushed to their chosen areas. According to Rappler, Malaysian DJ KC was the opening act for the One Direction OTRAT Manila Day 2. The DJ played his mix as the fans danced under the flowing rain.
An opening video streamed before the lads opened their show with "Clouds" from their Four album, followed by "Steal My Girl," the crowd sang along pretty loud. The boys kept thanking the fans for standing out in the rain. As stated from Inquirer, Harry Styles announced that "In last night's show we fell in love with Manila," succeeded by Liam Payne asking, "Are you louder than yesterday?"
Before performing their eleventh song, Niall Horan, on the other hand, tells the directioners how fans were on his mind while writing "Don't Forget Where You Belong," saying that the fans were the reason why the British boy band gets to travel different beautiful countries like the Philippines.
As the boys sang their final song, Niall said, "I feel sorry for other countries because they have a lot to live up to," referring to Manila as "one of the loudest" and "one of the best" shows they ever had.
Even though Zayn Malik dropped the Manila tour as well as Jakarta tour, on the brighter side of things, the foursome still aced their two-day show here in the Philippines. They left the stage leaving the fans with "post-concert" feels, accompanied by a fireworks display. They tarted from the bottom-from the different places in the United Kingdom, to X-factor and now touring around the world. All hats' off for the One Direction boy band!
